Roberto Turrin graduated from the “G. Tartini” Conservatory of Music in Trieste, where he studied with pianist Luciano Gante, as well as pianist Lya De Barberiis in Italy and Meisterkurse Zofingen in Switzerland. After receiving awards from the International Music Competitions in Stresa and Morcone, Roberto Turrin began his carrer as a soloist, performing in both North America and Europe (France, Russia, Ireland , Germany, Poland, Norway, Austria etc.). His tours received wide acclaim from the public and critics alike. Part of Turrin's accomplishments include duet ensembles with the violin and the clarinet, and recordings for television and radio stations (RAI in Italy, RadioTv Slovenia, Tv Polska, Belarus T.V.). Roberto Turrin is presently on the faculty in the Conservatory of Music “G. Tartini” in Trieste (Italy), he is the Artistic Director of the International Music Festival Echos and has been invited for many master classes concerning The Piano Literature of the XXth century by various musical associations (S. Francisco State University, Stanford University, University of Toronto, Illinois University Chicago, Escola Superior de Musica Lisbon, National Music Academy Sofia, Music Academy Zagreb, Innsbruck Konservatorium, Norges Musikkhogskole Oslo, …).
