The competitors are to present a self-created, self-composed artistic programme/a performance of their own free choice, either as a soloist or in an ensemble. Competitors may have recourse to existing, uncopyrighted material (texts, music works, compositions, etc.), out of which they create something new.
The jury will evaluate authenticity, originality, the creative process out of which the presentation programme resulted, and the artistic presentation.
Only works that have never been performed in public before may be entered in the competition.
Duration of the programme:
Ensemble programmes: 10–12 minutes
Solo programmes: 6–8 minutes
All competitors must submit, by the registration deadline, a written concept one DIN A4 page in length, clearly indicating the content, person(s) participating, format and technical requirements of the programme. Technical requirements are to be kept to a minimum; the competition administration reserves the right to make reductions if necessary.
Registration deadline: 2 november 2017
The date and time of transmission of the e-mail will be decisive. Technical delays cannot be taken into account.

The rehearsal and competition schedules of the registered ensembles will be assigned by the competition administration.
