The variety of courses and their close relationships allow students to benefit from extensive professional training, which meets the challenges of contemporary, creative art and cultural education.

The study programme jazz-saxophone aims at providing students with an comprehensive tool set for classic and modern playing styles of modern straight-ahead jazz, opening up all possibilities for their future professional life.

The field of study Music Education – Voice and Instruments (IGP) focuses not only on a comprehensive artistic jazz-saxophone education but also on the development of pedagogical mediation and communication skills. The development of practical teaching skills is provided by the cooperating music schools of the city of Vienna, as well as by the supervision of the MUK teachers and helps the students to be able to independently develop according to their own pedagogically valuable convictions acting teachers.
