The tuition fees are index-linked to the Austrian Consumer Price Index 2020 published by Statistics Austria. The starting value is the value of the consumer price index 2020 for June 2023 (120.4). A change in the index figure of up to 3% is not taken into account. If this limit is exceeded, the entire change will take effect in full. The index adjustment is announced by 31 May of each year at the latest and applies from the winter semester following the announcement. The tuition fee resulting from the index adjustment is rounded down to the nearest 10 EURO.
