Daniela Andonova displayed her creative accomplishment especially vigorously after the winning of the First Prize at “Maria Callas International Competition for Pianists” (Athens - 1981). As artist at the “Bulgarian Music State Board” and with invitations of the Bulgarian State Impresario Agency, she perform numerous concerts and recordings in Bulgaria, Greece, Belgium, France, Korea Nord, Cuba, Russia, Romania, Czech, Italia, Poland. She graduated piano “Master” degree with highest honors at the National Academy of Music in Sofia. Specialized with Prof. Fr. Gevers at the Royal Conservatory of Music - Antwerpen (Belgium). She received the Diploma “La plus grande distinction”, the prizes and awards in the name of “E. Boshe”, “L. Tervooren” and “Alex de Vries”. She is also laureate of the competitions “Sv. Obretenov” (Bulgaria) “Senigallia” (Italy). She realized records and CD in Bulgaria (Balkanton) and Greece (Polydor), also recordings for the Bulgarian National Radio, Radio Athens and piano recitals for the Bulgarian National Television.
D. Andonova is a soloist of Philharmonic orchestras in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Cuba. She has performed with notable conductors as Em. Tabakov, Vas. Stefanov, M. Nachev, M. Pradella, M. Duchesne, Klaus-Peter Haan. The repertory D. Andonova includes many of the important works for piano of the barroc, classic, romantic and contemporary music. She played in the Music Festivals in Bulgaria, Germany, Belgium, Romania, Korea. Her performances have been recognized in the musical press of Bulgaria, Greece, Belgium, Romania, Cuba, France.
Concurrently with her concert performance, since 1999 Daniela Andonova is “Docent” at the National Academy of Music “P. Vladiguerov” in Sofia – Instrumental Department and since 2009 she is piano “Professor”. She realize Master classes in Rumania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Portugal. Her students are laureates of the National and International Piano Competitions. For high creative achievements D. Andonova is laureate of the Prizes „Golden Muse 2008“ for the interpretation of the Russian music and „Golden lyra 2011” from the Union of Bulgarian Music and Dance.
