The competitors are to present a programme of their own free choice, having a title of their choice and consisting of at least two works or movements from two works.
The jury will evaluate the concept (= title, programme selection and programme introduction) and artistic interpretation of representative chamber music works.
Duration of the programme:
Instrumental ensembles: 15–19 minutes
Lieder programmes or vocal ensembles: 12–15 minutes
The entry must include a concept (= title, programme selection and programme introduction) at least half a DIN A4 page in length, containing an explanation of the relation between the selected works and the title.
In the preliminary round, one work or one movement must be performed. The jury reserves the right to request the performance of further works or movements, or even the entire programme.
In the main round, the entire programme must be performed.
Registration deadline: 2 November 2017
The date and time of transmission of the e-mail will be decisive. Technical delays cannot be taken into account.
